Wednesday evening’s “Setting the Vision” Workshop provided a tremendous amount of information and insights from the community for the design team to review during the first day of the Design Open House.

Several community members stopped in throughout the day to provide additional input from the previous evening’s workshop, as well as to have a chance to talk one-on-one with members of the design team. The Morgan State University students also contributed as part of the day’s Design Open House session, learning more about the outcome of the workshop and beginning to identify better access for walking and biking around the mall area.

Finally, the design team began developing some rough sketches to start identifying how ideas from the community could be pieced together on the site.

Community members and stakeholders are encouraged to stop in at any time during the Open House hours to continue to provide input and insights as well as see the progress made each day.
